Panjab University has issued guidelines for online classes to compensate for the loss of classes for the students due to the suspension of classes announced in the country due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  The Panjab University Dean of the University of Instruction to faculty for teaching online issued the guidelines as per an official statement released by the university. The university authorities had suspended the classes for the students until March 31, 2020, and the teachers were directed to work from home. The press release issued by the university also added that the university has advised the teachers to upload the e-lectures via Google Classroom and also help in clearing the doubts of the students.  The release also stated that the university faculty members have also been asked to share their lectures via mail and also reply to the query of the students through email, WhatsApp or Skype.
